After breakfast at your Riad, at 9 am, you will be picked up to start the day trip to the Ourika Valley.
The day begins by leaving Marrakech behind and heading into the High Atlas Mountains, where you can experience the way of life of the locals, visit Berber villages, and immerse yourself in their unique culture and lifestyle. These traditional communities offer an insight into the centuries-old ways of life of the indigenous Moroccan people.
On this tour you will also have the opportunity to tour a traditional family home and learn about the domestic life and cultural traditions of the Berber people. The interior design and other elements of the house will give you a deeper understanding of their way of life.
It is a very beautiful route, with spectacular views.
Once in Ourika you will have free time to wander around the valley, eat in its restaurants, take an optional walk of about an hour to visit the Setti Fatma waterfalls (we recommend being in good physical shape for this) and enjoy a delicious local lunch by the Ourika River and admire the vibrant and picturesque natural landscape that surrounds it.
At the end of this unforgettable day, you will be ready to return to Marrakech, having immersed yourself in the rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty of the Berber region.

Our driver will pick you up in a comfortable car and drive you to Meknes, an ancient city in Morocco. It is a special place with an old part called medina, and it was the capital of the kingdom with a strong leader. With your driver, you will see important things in Meknes, such as palaces, gates, a mosque, and other interesting places. You can also try some local food to learn how people live. After Meknes, you will go to Volubilis, a place with really old Roman ruins. You will be able to learn about the Romans and see the remains of their buildings. Then, you will visit Moulay Idriss, an old town with a special place called Mausoleum. This part is not open to everyone, but you can still see some interesting things. The tour ends when your guide drops you off at your place of stay or at the train station or airport.
