- Tour plan :

On the first day of your 12-day tour from Casablanca, we will meet you at the port, airport or your accommodation. You will explore the economic capital of Morocco. Our first stop is the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in the country. It is right by the Atlantic Ocean and we will have free time for lunch. After that, we will explore the city and see the beautiful Cornwall of Casablanca. You will spend the night in a hotel.

After breakfast, we will drive along the coast to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. In Rabat, you will explore the highlights of the Moroccan capital, including the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaya. You will have some free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will head north via Ouazzane to reach the Blue City of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains, where you will spend the night in a hotel.

Today we will spend exploring the city of Chefchaouen. After breakfast, immerse yourself in its blue embrace. Stroll through the charming old medina, where sun-drenched white walls hold vibrant blue doors and every corner beckons with an Instagram-worthy click. Savor a leisurely lunch at your own pace and then conquer the panoramic climb to the Spanish Mosque. Bathe in breathtaking panoramas as the afternoon sun paints the city in fiery hues – Chefchaouen at its most magical. Finally, return to your hotel.

After breakfast, go to visit the beautiful streets of Chefchaouen, known as the blue city. Then, we will hop in a car and drive to Volubilis to see really old Roman buildings. It is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are interesting things like ancient pillars and nice mosaics everywhere. Next, we drive 30 kilometers to see Meknes, a city with a lot of history. We will visit places like Bab Al-Mansour, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, Royal Stables, Sahrij Souani Basin, and the Granary. After exploring, we will travel to Fes and spend the night in a riad.

Today we will see the best parts of Fes. Fes is a really important city in Morocco for culture and religion, and it is one of the great cities of the time. Early in the morning we will start at the gate of the Royal Palace. Then, we will explore the super old part of the city, called Medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your local guide will show you around. We will start at the Blue Gate, called Bab Boujloud, and then we will wander through a bunch of small streets. We will visit interesting places like the tanneries, the Najjarine Fountain, and the Medrasa Bouanania. And don’t forget the mosque and the university of Quaraouin, which is the oldest university that ever existed! Afterwards we will leave the Medina and visit the Jewish quarter, also called “the Mellah”. In the afternoon, we will head to an old fortress to get a breathtaking view of the city. Finally, we will return to the place where we will stay, called Riad.

After breakfast, we head to a place called Ifrane, passing through a village called Imouzzer. Ifrane is special because it is very cold, snowy and has houses that look like those in the mountains of Switzerland. Next, we head to a forest where monkeys called Barbary macaques live. You can feed them and walk through the forest. Afterwards, we head to a village called Midelt, where we will have free time for lunch. Then, we head to another desert of Merzouga through a pass and along a valley with stops to see nice views. In the afternoon, we reach the Sahara desert in Merzouga. Here we ride camels and drive through the sand desert. We stop on a high sand hill to watch the sunset. Finally, we head to a camp, which is like a mix of nomad tents and a fancy hotel. There you can listen to Berber drum music, dance around a campfire and admire the stars in the wide open sky. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise in the desert – it’s a must! Take some time to have breakfast. After that, travel back to Merzouga by camels – the driver will be waiting. We take a tour of the Merzouga region. It is packed with amazing places for outdoor activities, including sand dunes, a wild lake, mines, fossil regions, and a wonderful oasis. In Merzouga, we start with a jeep ride to an abandoned eyeliner mine. After that, we have tea with Berbers and meet nomads in their hand-woven tents to learn about their way of life. The village of Khamlia is the next stop, where you can enjoy Gnaoua music and dance performances. The people living here come from sub-Saharan countries, including Niger, Sudan, and Mali. Take a break for lunch at a restaurant. After that, we will return to our luxury camp for the second night of our 6-day tour from Casablanca.

After breakfast, we head to Rissani, which used to be the capital of Tafilalet. It is still an important place for trade and has a large market that is busy on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. We visit a workshop where things are made from fossilized marble in Erfoud after visiting the market in Rissani. Then, we drive through palm groves in Touroug and Tinjdad to reach the Todra Gorges. These are huge red-walled canyons carved by the Todra River. Climbers really like these gorges and you can explore them to enjoy the incredible views. Take some time to eat at a restaurant. Afterwards we pass through Boumalne Dades and head into the Dades Valley. We make sure to stop at the “monkey fingers” rock formation – it’s hard to miss! This place is high up on a mountain, giving us a great view of the Dades Valley. Finally, we end the day with dinner and overnight in a hotel.

After breakfast, our next stop is Kalaa Magouna to visit the Valley of Roses. If you visit in May, you can attend the Rose Festival where locals sell rose-related products such as cosmetics, rose water, oils and perfumes. Then, we will drive through the palm groves of Skoura and arrive at Ouarzazate where we will tour the film studios used for famous productions. Next, we will explore the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. This Kasbah has appeared in films such as Gladiator, Alexander and The Mummy as well as TV shows such as Game of Thrones. After that, we will drive through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass on our way to Marrakech. We will pause for lunch and take photos at notable locations. Overnight in a Marrakech riad

In the morning, after a delicious breakfast at your riad, you will immerse yourself in the heart of Marrakech with a friendly local guide. We will take a look inside palaces fit for kings and queens (Bahia Palace), explore ancient tombs (Saadian Tombs) and get lost in the vibrant labyrinth of Morocco’s largest market (souk). You will have free time for lunch near Jemaa El-Fna Square. In the afternoon, we will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest in Marrakech, and the beautiful Majorelle Garden. Finally, we will transfer you to your accommodation. Feel free to explore Jemaa El-Fna on your own and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the square.

Today we head to Essaouira, a charming coastal town that runs through the Argan Valley. Essaouira is known for its small squares, ramparts, fortifications and historical monuments. Along the way we will stop to see the famous tree goats and enjoy panoramic views. Upon arrival in Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, we explore one of the most important coastal cities in Morocco. Our visit includes the fishing port, the ancient ramparts with cannons and a walk through the old Medina. Then, we head to Marrakech. Enjoy your overnight stay in Marrakech.

On the last day of your amazing 12-day tour from Casablanca, we will say goodbye. Depending on your flight schedule, we will quickly take you from your accommodation in Marrakech to the airport, ready to fly home with memories that will last a lifetime.
