4-DAY TOUR FROM OUARZAZATE TO THE DESERT AND MARRAKECH

After breakfast, we will head through the Dades Valley. We will stop at an interesting place overlooking the valley, so you can enjoy the amazing scenery of the Dades Gorges. Then, we will continue to the Todra Gorges, where the Todra River has created a huge canyon in the mountains, forming high red cliffs. You will be able to walk through the gorges and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We will also drive through palm groves in Touroug and Tinjdad, and you will have some free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will reach the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Here, you will ride camels and stroll through the sandy desert. We will stop so you can watch the sunset over a high sand dune – it’s like magic! After that, we will head to a fancy desert camp. You will be able to listen to Berber drum music, dance around a bonfire, and gaze at the stars in the open sky. Dinner and a comfortable night’s sleep will be at the camp. Wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise in the desert – it’s a must! Take some time to have breakfast. Afterwards, head back to Merzouga on camels – the driver will be waiting. We tour the Merzouga region. It’s packed with amazing places for outdoor activities, including sand dunes, a wild lake, mines, fossil regions, and a wonderful oasis. In Merzouga, we start with an off-road drive to an abandoned kohl mine. Afterwards, we have tea with Berbers and meet nomads in their hand-woven tents to learn about their way of life. The next stop is the village of Khamlia, where you can enjoy Gnaoua music and dance. The people who live here are from sub-Saharan nations, including Niger, Sudan, and Mali. Break for lunch at a restaurant. Afterwards, we head back to Merzouga for dinner and overnight in a desert camp.

Today, make sure you wake up early to witness the stunning sunrise in the heart of the desert. After this magical moment, take some free time to enjoy a warm Moroccan breakfast. Afterwards, you will ride camels or take the 4×4 vehicle from the camp back to Merzouga, where your driver awaits you. The journey continues to Rissani, famous for its vibrant and diverse souk. Then, we head to Alnif and travel alongside the picturesque Draa Valley until we reach Ouarzazate. Crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, we head to Marrakech.
