2 DAYS TOUR OF THE ZAGORA DESERT FROM MARRAKECH

Your 2 days adventure in the Zagora desert starts early in the morning, departing from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech. We will drive through the Tizi N-tichka Pass, which is located quite high at 2260 meters. Along the way, we will pass through different Berber villages, making stops so you can enjoy the stunning panoramic views. Next, we will reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Hadou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a really cool place that was even used in big Hollywood movies like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia, as well as in the TV series Game of Thrones. After exploring, we will have lunch, either at the Kasbah or a little further on in Ouarzazate. Then, our journey will take us through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, Berber villages, and along the Draa Valley. The Draa Valley is famous for being the largest palm plantation and having the longest river in Morocco. Finally, in the afternoon, we will arrive in Zagora. You will ride a camel for a trek through the Zagora desert, watch a stunning sunset, and then head to your camp in the Sahara Desert. There, you will enjoy a Moroccan dinner and drum entertainment under the starry sky. It will be an unforgettable experience!
