Our Morocco honeymoon packages are private tours for two: the riads of Marrakech, the blue lanes of Chefchaouen, the Atlas Mountains and a night in the dunes, in one or two weeks. The vehicle and the driver are yours alone, and the route is built around you.
Is Morocco good for a honeymoon?
In a week or two the scenery changes completely: medinas and riads, mountain passes, mud-brick kasbahs, the Atlantic coast and the Sahara. From most of Europe it’s a short flight, so you don’t lose days in transit. And on a private tour the trip is just yours: no group, flexible timings and stops wherever you like.
A Morocco honeymoon itinerary
- The riads of Marrakech. Traditional courtyard houses in the medina, a short walk from the souks and Jemaa el-Fna at dusk.
- Chefchaouen. The blue lanes of the Rif, best with a full day and two nights, as on the 12-day tour from Casablanca.
- The Atlas. The Tizi n’Tichka pass, the Ait Ben Haddou kasbah and the Dades Valley on the way south.
- A night in the desert. Ride a camel to camp at sunset and sleep among the Merzouga dunes at Tassili Luxury Desert Camp, in a tent with a private bathroom.
- Essaouira. If you’d like to end by the sea.

On a honeymoon, where you sleep matters more than usual. In the cities, riads and hotels to suit what you’re looking for: we send you options on WhatsApp. Your night in the desert is at Tassili Luxury Desert Camp in Merzouga, in a tent with a private bathroom.
When to go
Spring and autumn are the best seasons for most of the country. July and August are very hot inland and in the desert, so favour the north and the coast. Winter brings sunny days and cold nights, especially in the dunes. Month by month in our guide to the best time to visit Morocco.
What a Morocco honeymoon costs
We send you a quote on WhatsApp for your dates. It depends on:
- the number of days and the route;
- the accommodation you choose, usually the biggest variable on a honeymoon;
- the season.
On a private tour, the vehicle and driver are shared between two, so bear that in mind when comparing with group tours. Flights are not included. More in how our private tours work.

Yes, if you enjoy mixing cities, landscapes and a touch of adventure in one trip. If all you want is a beach and rest, a short route ending in Essaouira suits better.
How many days should a Morocco honeymoon be?
Seven to twelve days covers Marrakech, the Atlas, the desert and Fes or Chefchaouen without rushing. With less time, combine Marrakech to Fes in 4 days with a few days in Marrakech.
Are your honeymoon packages all inclusive?
Our tours include the private vehicle and driver and the accommodation; each tour page details what else is included and what isn’t. Flights are never included. Ask us before booking if anything is unclear.
Can we sleep in the desert with a private bathroom?
Yes: we plan your desert night at Tassili Luxury Desert Camp in Merzouga, where the tents have private bathrooms.
Will we have time to ourselves?
Yes. On a private tour you can ask for free afternoons or an extra night wherever you like most. We agree on it when we plan the route.
