Morocco tours from Tangier

Arriving in Tangier by plane or by ferry? These are our five private tours from Tangier, 5 to 10 days long, with an English-speaking driver. Four are a Tangier to Marrakech tour via Chefchaouen, Fes and the desert; the fifth stays in the north and the imperial cities and ends in Casablanca.

Starting in Tangier

Tangier is Morocco’s northern gateway, by air or by ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar. All the tours start the same way: Tetouan, with its white medina, then through the Rif hills to Chefchaouen for the night. From there you head south, so you cross the country in one direction. If you arrive by ferry, we pick you up at the port in Tangier. The ferry ticket is not included.

Tangier to Marrakech in 5, 6, 7 or 10 days

  • 5 days: Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes, a night in Fes, a night in the desert, then the Todra and the Dades to Marrakech.
  • 6 days: adds a full day in Fes with a local guide.
  • 7 days: with two nights in the desert and a day in the Sahara by 4x4.
  • 10 days: at an easy pace: a full day in Chefchaouen, two nights in Fes, two in the desert and two in Marrakech, with a guided tour and an airport transfer.

Northern Morocco in 5 days

The 5-day tour from Tangier to Casablanca is the only one in our catalogue without the desert. Tetouan, two nights in Chefchaouen with a full day in the blue city, Volubilis and Meknes, two nights in Fes with a guided tour and, on the last day, Rabat and Casablanca. Can you pick us up at Tangier port if we arrive by ferry?

Yes: we pick you up at the port in Tangier. The ferry ticket is not included. When you ask for a price on WhatsApp, tell us what time your ferry arrives.

Can I do Tangier to Marrakech as a day trip?

We don’t offer it as a day trip: it’s a long drive and you’d miss everything along the way. Our tours take at least 5 days, with stops in Chefchaouen, Fes and the desert. Do I have to come back to Tangier at the end?

No: four tours end in Marrakech and one in Casablanca. If you need to get back to Tangier for your ferry or flight, tell us and we’ll adjust the route. More on our custom tours page.

How many days do I need from Tangier?

Five days covers the north and the imperial cities, or gets you to Marrakech with a night in the desert. Seven gives you time for a guided day in Fes and two nights in the dunes. Ten lets you do all of that without rushing.
