We run two, both private with an English-speaking driver: one starts in Fes and takes in the imperial cities, Chefchaouen, Marrakech and the desert; the other runs from Tangier to Marrakech, with a day in Fes and two nights in the desert. Below we compare them and explain what a one-week tour of Morocco costs.
Our 7-day Morocco tours
- 7 days from Fes: Meknes and Volubilis, a night in Chefchaouen, Rabat, Casablanca and the Hassan II Mosque, two nights in Marrakech with a guided tour, Ait Ben Haddou, the Ouarzazate film studios, the Todra Gorge and a night in the Merzouga desert. This is the one that takes in Rabat and Casablanca, on the Atlantic coast. It starts and ends in Fes.
- 7 days from Tangier to Marrakech: Tetouan and Chefchaouen, Volubilis and Meknes, a day in Fes with a local guide, two nights in the desert with a day in the Sahara by 4x4, the Todra, the Dades and the road of the kasbahs to Marrakech. A good fit if you land in Tangier, or arrive by ferry, and fly home from Marrakech.

If your week is really six days, or stretches to eight, these tours follow the same idea:
- 6 days from Marrakech to Fes: the High Atlas, Ait Ben Haddou, the Dades, two nights in the desert and Fes with a local guide.
- 6 days from Casablanca to Marrakech: the Hassan II Mosque, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes, Fes with a guide and a night in the desert.
- 6 days from Tangier to Marrakech: like the 7-day tour from Tangier, with one night in the desert instead of two.
- 8 days from Casablanca to Marrakech: with a night in Casablanca when you arrive and another in Marrakech before your airport transfer.

What you can see in one week in Morocco
Seven days isn’t enough for the whole of Morocco, so don’t try. What works is picking one combination:
- The north and the desert: Chefchaouen, Fes and one or two nights in the dunes, ending in Marrakech. That’s the Tangier tour.
- The imperial cities and the coast: Meknes, Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech, with the Atlas and a night in the desert at the end. That’s the Fes tour.

How much does a 7-day Morocco tour cost?
We don’t publish a fixed rate, because every private trip is different. The price of a week depends on:
- How many of you are travelling: the vehicle and the driver are for the whole group.
- The accommodation you choose.
- The time of year.
- Changes to the route: extra nights or day trips, or ending in a different city.

The private trip in an air-conditioned 4x4 or van, with an English-speaking driver and pick-up at your accommodation; your nights in hotels or riads and at the desert camp; the camel ride and local guides for the city visits. Flights, lunches and drinks are not included; anything else, we arrange with you on WhatsApp.
Should I start in Fes or in Tangier?
It depends on where you arrive and what you want to see. From Tangier you get more time in the north and in the desert (two nights) and you end in Marrakech. From Fes you also see Rabat and Casablanca, with two nights in Marrakech and one in the desert.
Is there a 7-day itinerary from Marrakech?
Not exactly, but there are close alternatives: the 6-day tour from Marrakech to Fes, and the 6-day and 8-day tours from Casablanca. As they’re private, we can add a day, for example an extra night in Fes or Marrakech. Just ask us on WhatsApp.
How many nights do you spend in the desert?
One on the Fes tour and two on the Tangier tour. If you’d like to sleep in a tent with a private bathroom, ask about Tassili Luxury Desert Camp, our sister camp in Merzouga.
