From Marrakech to Fes over the Atlas
If your trip continues in Fes, there are three ways to get there:
- 3 days: a night in the Dades Valley, the Todra Gorge and a night in the Merzouga desert; on day three you head up the Ziz Valley and over the Middle Atlas to Fes.
- 4 days: the same route with a second night in the desert and a day in the Sahara by 4x4.
- 6 days: the 4-day route plus a day in Fes with a local guide and a last stroll before your transfer to Fes airport.

From Marrakech to Tangier in 10 days
The 10-day tour from Marrakech crosses Morocco from south to north. It starts slowly: arrival, a day in Marrakech with a local guide and a day trip to Essaouira. Then come the Atlas, the Dades, two nights in the desert, Fes with a guide, Meknes, Volubilis and Chefchaouen, finishing in Tangier.

WhatsAppIs there a 7-day Morocco itinerary from Marrakech?
Not exactly. The closest is the 6-day tour from Marrakech to Fes; as it’s private, we can add a day, for example a day trip to Essaouira before you set off or an extra night in Fes. If you have exactly a week, also look at our 7-day tours from Fes and Tangier.
Zagora or Merzouga?
Zagora is closer to Marrakech, which is why it fits into two days. Merzouga is further away: our tours give it at least three days and go via the Dades and the Todra. For activities in the Merzouga dunes, see Merzouga 4x4.
Where do you pick us up in Marrakech?
At your accommodation, riad or hotel. On the 10-day tour, which starts with your arrival, we meet you at Marrakech airport.
Can I finish the tour in a different city?
The tours to Fes end in Fes, the 10-day tour ends in Tangier and the desert round trips end back in Marrakech. If you need to finish somewhere else, tell us on WhatsApp: since the tours are private, the route can be adjusted. More on our custom tours page.
