Morocco day trips from Marrakech, Fes, Tangier and Casablanca

Our Morocco day trips leave from four cities: Marrakech, Fes, Tangier and Casablanca. There are 15 of them, all private, with pick-up from your accommodation, an air-conditioned vehicle and a driver just for your group who speaks English, Spanish, French or Italian.

Staying in southern Spain? A day trip to Morocco from Spain means Tangier: see our Tangier day tour, designed for travellers crossing by ferry.

WhatsApp
Are the day trips private?

Yes, all of them. No groups and no shared minibuses: the vehicle and driver are just for you, so the timing and stops fit around you.

Can I do a Morocco day trip from Spain or Málaga?

Yes, to Tangier: the ferry from Tarifa takes about an hour, and from Málaga you first drive to Tarifa or Algeciras. See our Tangier day tour. As you’re crossing a border, check the entry requirements in our guide Is Morocco safe?, which links to the official sources. We pick you up at Tangier port; the ferry ticket is not included.

Can I visit Chefchaouen on a day trip?

From Tangier, yes: about 2 hours each way. From Fes too, but with almost 4 hours each way. From Casablanca it’s a very long day of 12 to 14 hours. From Marrakech it’s too far: it fits better into a tour through the north, such as the 7-day tour from Fes.

Which day trips involve the least driving?

The Ourika Valley from Marrakech, the Middle Atlas from Fes, Asilah and Tetouan from Tangier, and Rabat from Casablanca.
