10-day Morocco tours

A Morocco 10-day tour is long enough to cross the country from north to south without rushing. We run four, all private with an English-speaking driver: from Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca and Tangier. All four take in Chefchaouen, Fes, the desert, Ait Ben Haddou and Marrakech; what changes is where you start, where you finish and which region gets the most time.

How the 10-day tours differ

  • From Marrakech: south to north. It starts with three nights in Marrakech (a guided day and a day trip to Essaouira), crosses the Atlas to the Dades and the desert, then continues to Fes, Meknes, Volubilis and Chefchaouen, and ends in Tangier.
  • From Fes: the one with the most coast. A day in Fes with a guide, the desert, the Dades, two nights in Marrakech, a night in Essaouira and the Atlantic coast via Casablanca and Rabat, before heading up to Chefchaouen and ending in Tangier.
  • From Casablanca: a night in Casablanca with the Hassan II Mosque, Rabat and Chefchaouen, two nights in Fes, two in the desert and the finish in Marrakech, with a guided day and an airport transfer.
  • From Tangier: the one with the most time in the north. Two nights in Chefchaouen (a full day in the blue city), two in Fes, two in the desert and two in Marrakech, with an airport transfer on the last day.

In short: for more Marrakech, the Marrakech tour; for the coast, the Fes tour; for more Chefchaouen, the Tangier tour; and if you land in Casablanca, the Casablanca tour.

If you have 12 or 14 days

  • 12 days from Casablanca: the 10-day route at a slower pace, with a full day in Chefchaouen and a day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech.
  • 14 days from Casablanca: two weeks. It heads up the Atlantic coast to Asilah and Tangier first, then Tetouan and Chefchaouen, and comes down through Fes and the desert to Marrakech and Essaouira, where you spend a night.

Both end in Marrakech with an airport transfer. If you have eight days, see the 8-day tour from Casablanca.

How much does a 10-day Morocco trip cost?

Prices are on request, because every private trip is worked out for your group and your dates. The cost depends on:

  • How many of you are travelling: the vehicle and the driver are for the whole group.
  • Accommodation: ten days means nine nights.
  • The time of year.
  • Changes to the route: more nights somewhere, day trips or a different end point.

Send us your dates, the number of travellers and the tour you like on WhatsApp, and we’ll send you a price.

WhatsApp
Which is the best 10-day tour of Morocco?

The one that starts where you land and ends where your flight home leaves. Beyond that: Marrakech if you want more time there and to finish in Tangier; Fes if you want Essaouira and the coast; Tangier if you want a full day in Chefchaouen; Casablanca if that’s where you arrive.

What’s included in a 10-day tour?

The private trip in an air-conditioned 4x4 or van, with an English-speaking driver and pick-up at your accommodation; your nights in hotels or riads and at the desert camp; the camel ride and local guides for the city visits. Flights, lunches and drinks are not included; anything else, we arrange with you on WhatsApp.

Is 10 days enough for Morocco?

For a first trip, yes: it covers the north, the imperial cities, the desert and Marrakech without rushing. What usually doesn’t fit in ten days is the southern coast or more nights in the desert. Our Morocco itinerary guide goes through it day by day.

Can the route be changed or done in reverse?

As the tour is private, the itinerary can be adjusted: reversed, with a city dropped or with extra nights. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we’ll show you how it would look. More on our custom tours page.
