A day trip from Marrakech to Casablanca is, above all, a chance to see the Hassan II Mosque: built right on the Atlantic, it is one of the few mosques in Morocco that non-Muslims can visit inside. Add the Corniche, the Habous quarter and Mohammed V Square in the city centre.
It’s a private day trip from Marrakech to Casablanca: the vehicle and driver are just for your group. It’s 2.5 to 3 hours each way on the motorway, so it’s a long day, but with no changes or waiting around.
Route
What you’ll see
- The Hassan II Mosque, built beside the Atlantic
- A visit inside the mosque (ticket required)
- The Corniche, the seafront promenade
- The Habous quarter and its souks
- Mohammed V Square and the city-centre buildings
What the day looks like
Early pick-up in Marrakech and a motorway drive to Casablanca. First, the Hassan II Mosque: you see its minaret from far away, and inside you join one of the mosque’s own guided visits. Visiting times change with the day and the season, so we plan the route around them.
Then a walk along the Corniche, the Habous quarter with its traditional-style souks, and Mohammed V Square. Back to Marrakech in the afternoon.

Yes. It is one of the few mosques in Morocco open to non-Muslim visitors, on a guided visit with a ticket. If you have any questions about the ticket, just ask us on WhatsApp.
Can we add Rabat on the same day?
Rabat is another hour from Casablanca, which would make the day far too long. To see both cities, look at the 7-day tour from Fes or the day trip to Rabat from Casablanca.
