DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ERRACHIDIA – MERZOUGA

On the first day of your 3-day Merzouga desert tour, we will pick you up from the airport and head south to the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Your evening will include a delicious dinner, and you will spend the night in a desert camp, surrounded by the enchanting desert atmosphere.

DAY 2: DESERT EXPLORATION IN 4X4 – CAMEL TREKKING – OVERNIGHT IN DESERT CAMP

On the second day of your Errachidia to Merzouga desert tour, we will start with a delicious breakfast at your desert camp, followed by a camel ride back to Merzouga village. Afterwards, we will embark on a day of exploring the Merzouga desert, cruising through the dunes in a 4×4 vehicle. During the trip, we will have the opportunity to visit a nomadic family near the borders of Morocco and Algeria. Afterwards, we will head to the village of dark-skinned people, originally from Sudan, where you will be able to listen to Gnaoua music and experience their unique lifestyle. In the afternoon, we will return to Merzouga. We will be greeted by an expert camel guide and friendly camels who will take us on a lovely half-hour ride through the fascinating dunes of Merzouga. We will spend the night in a desert camp under a starry sky.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – ERFOUD – ZIZ VALLEY – IFRANE – FES

Start your day by setting an early alarm, giving you the chance to witness a breathtaking and magnificent sunrise. After breakfast, you will ride the camel back to Merzouga. Then, we head to Rissani, the historical foundation of the current ruling family. It is still an important place for trade and has a large market that is busy on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Afterwards, we visit a workshop where they make things from fossilized marble in Erfoud. Next, we pass by the Ziz River and stop for a panoramic view of this valley. The trip continues passing through the cedar forest and Ifrane, concluding in Fes. Your tour ends when we drop you off at the airport or your accommodation. End of tour.
