Exploring from Casablanca
Many Morocco trips start in Casablanca: Mohammed V Airport is one of the country’s main gateways. If you start or finish here and have a free day, the motorway takes you to Rabat in about an hour and to Marrakech in under three. Chefchaouen is possible too, but it’s a very long day.

For an easy day, Rabat, an hour away. If Marrakech isn’t on your route, the Casablanca to Marrakech day trip. Chefchaouen is possible, but better with a night there.
Can I visit Marrakech on a day trip from Casablanca?
Yes: 2.5 to 3 hours on the motorway each way, with about 5 hours in Marrakech. The day lasts around 10 to 11 hours.
What about Chefchaouen in a day?
It’s possible, but it’s a very long day: about 4 hours’ drive each way and 12 to 14 hours in total. If you have time, the Chefchaouen trip can be done over 2 days with a night in the blue city.
Do I need a day trip to see the Hassan II Mosque?
No, it’s in Casablanca itself, right by the ocean. All our tours from Casablanca visit it on day one.
